UC/CSU Applications

Well my article is going to be about college applications.  Felipie  and I are going to interview people who are feeling the pressure of going thru the application progress.  I am going to interview the Luz, Maria,  and Whitney and Felipie is going to interview the college and career  ladies.

The New Tennis Courts

The girls tennis team stepped out onto the new tennis courts this September after waiting for two years. After many unfulfilled promises and two years of waiting, the team was exited to see work finally being done on the courts over the summer. 

So where did they practice you may ask? For the 2005 season they practiced at a park on Cherry Avenue and Capitol Expressway, and for the 2006 season they practiced at John Muir Middle School. It has been a tough journey for the team but, the team still hung in there and have had some awesome wins the last  two year. 

When we asked Mr. Ravey, the girls tennis coach,  what he thought about the new tennis courts, he replied by saying “They are great. I really appreciate the administration getting them completed”.

We got to go on the tennis courts for the first time since 2005. The are blue and green different all the rest of the schools which are red and green. It was very exciting . 

We are going to have our first game of the season at Andrew Hill. Our first home game is going to be against Sobrato on Thursday
